Purchased in 2022 by the Somewhere to Meet family group, the Hôtel de L’Abbaye in Tronchet, a 4-star hotel built in a former abbey church, is writing a new page in its history.

Our ambition
« We want to make the most of the potential of this establishment, which has been somewhat dormant for a while. The Hôtel de l’Abbaye and our gourmet restaurant Le Jardin de l’Abbaye will now be open all year round. Our teams are dedicated to making every stay unique, thanks to the quality of their welcome and the excellence of their service.
We mainly welcome couples and families on holiday in Haute Bretagne, looking for a unique experience in an authentic setting. One of our ambitions for the Hôtel de l’Abbaye is also to open up to a wider clientele, and to welcome groups. We aim to welcome professionals for business trips, professional seminars and study days, but also to exploit the event potential of a large-scale venue such as this, by developing our offer for weddings, ceremonies and family events.
With 45 rooms and suites, a reception room for up to 120 people and a gourmet restaurant, we can accommodate large groups and organise exceptional events in an intimate, privileged setting.”
